ROCKPOOL

This video was made continuing with my exploration of representation and the changes and transformations occurring in natural phenomena and the environment.

It is a result of observing the intermittent changes in wind velocity working on and disturbing the water surface of a Rockpool. The perception of the rocks and pebbles lying at the bottom of the pool change in varying degrees from clarity to a complete transformation into abstraction.

Chance also had a role to play for the duration of filming this work. In not being able to determine in advance the degree and strength of the wind at any one time, resulted in continuous fluctuations in the visual appearance of the video image.
