Filmed in the old prison building in Porto now converted into a photographic gallery. Made in b/w with reference to a past time spent in a prison cell with only one barred window view of the city of Porto. With its silences and repetitions the video gives predominant emphasis to duration, made in real time takes some of which have no sound. The out of frame vocals, echoes and acoustics within the prison could help to create addition imaginary spaces reflecting both the past and present.
