My Blood Self: Civilizations (Part 2)

My Blood Self is a new body of work based on the idea of an editorial fashion shoot that references imagery of genocide and substandard poverty, juxtaposed with historical images from the Egyptian and Mesoamerica civilizations.

Civilizations (Part 2) continues where Part 1 left off, by showing how knowledge was transferred from Africa especially Egypt across the Atlantic to South and Central America to end up influencing the development of the Inca and Mayan civilizations. It also shows the connection to both these places during and after slavery and the current ongoing sociopolitical problems caused by multi-national corporations working in both these areas
