Timing 1,2,3,4

Timing 1, 2, 3, 4 (A part of MODELS Reel 1, 1972)

‘Timing 1, 2, 3, 4 consists of four 100 foot films which have horizontal white lines drawn on the frame line of black leader which show up at the top and the bottom of the frame on the screen. Except for no.1, all the films have sound which was also scratched on the track. Timing 1 features white lines (top and bottom) every one second without sound; Timing 2 features white lines every other second with alternating sound at the same intervals; Timing 3 features white lines increasing by one frame longer intervals and sound synchronizes with the line; in Timing 4, white lines increase in one second longer intervals and the sound synchronizes with every other line.’ (T.I.)
