Living with problems. Living with a myth. The boys didn’t want to be ‘posers’. To be an East Ender was nothing special. But the question is how o solve the economic problems. I give a somewhat relentless account of this. And the question is of identity. Tower Hamlets is the area with the largest number of pupils speaking languages other than English. Three quarters of them speak Bengali. So, what is an East Ender? – W.T.
