7 Faces Of A Woman

This is the first video I made (with Steve Littman) after leaving art school in 1982. Its derived from a multi-media performance of the same name.Although clumsy and technically lacking it represents the stirrings of my research of a “voice”, the search for a visual and sonic language as a “feminist artist”. Drawing on the autobiographical as being “personal is political”… how to break through the roles that I felt had been written out for me.
