Taped Sessions is the final film in a trilogy, which includes Begin Now What Will Be and Act 2, dealing with the relationship between film theory and narrative practice. Taped Sessions dramatises the conflict between a filmmaker and his producer over issues of style, politics and ethics. The film raises questions concerning the borders between documentary fiction and poetics. It is filled with intertexual references to Godard, Wenders and others who also explore the borders of narrative construction. – O.S.
Taped Sessions features Dan Krempel and Sheila Shattuck.
