‘Secondary Action’ is a series of sequential drawings made in 1977. The drawings show a world of unexpected danger, anguish and invasion: there are no boundaries. The film is accompanied by John Lely’s composition ‘The Harmonics of Real Strings, III’, performed by cellist Anton Lukoszevieze, a slow bowed glissando along the full length of one string. The film stands as an allegory for the times we live in.
