My tapes evoke the transient nature of experience and memory. The imagery slips between the mundane and the mysterious without the use of digital effects or visual imagery. An old shoe box of family photographs, found in an Amsterdam market, provided the source material for this video. The photographs were videoed in low light conditions, flickering in and out of view by the light of a single candle. The voice over details things unseen in the video but visible in the original photographs. It fades with the images, before any conclusions can be drawn.
