Trilogy 45

A three part collage of a period spent living in upstate New York. Part of a series of video pop songs, or poems, toying with degraded images of Americana, with music and voiceover. Deliberately using cliche, each film has a line; ‘life’s like surfing if you ride it’ ‘ain’t no crime in loving but the way you love me is a crime’ and ‘yo i fell in love with the devil again’ reflecting an outsiders fascination with rural smalltown America, and its genres.
