‘While editing OUT WEST the words for TALL BUILDINGS came. That summer we had filmed the skyscrapers of New York. When filming the resonances of a family tragedy that had happened before I was born resurfaced so that the buildings began to represent a kind of emotional architecture.’ – C.S.
