Projected Film

I was trying to be quite still. A pretence of disappearance. In this space, on this screen, I am disappearing, yet you will see me, like an ex-ray.You will see me behind the screen. These are my conditions (this is my condition). It is a contract. You must look at me. I am hiding. I am projected onto the screen. My head merges towards the screen, looking out, or I am looking in, to your side, I am looking at what is outside at the world in which you function, in which you watch me. I move towards the screen, I am clutching this box with its descending, breaking ariel. My thin, disintegrating body bears its weight, it is unweildly, machine-like. Yet it apparently grows from my body. – F.E.
