Portrait Of A Fabric Outlaw

The film follows Rusty Shears a young woman, dressed as a cowgirl, rhinestone decorated scissors, glistening in twin holsters, slung low on her hips. She strides the London environs, on the prowl for fragments of sumptuous fabric, scarfs, ties, frocks, any colourful pattern that catches her eye. Her lawless behaviour in snipping the clothes of innocent passers-by, is a means to fulfil her fantasy aspiration, to fashion the most flamboyant flamenco dress. Adorned in the exotic garment she defiantly confronts Rusty her masculine cowboy persona, across a rooftop washing line of billowing plaid shirts.
