…a flat…somewhere…a sunny afternoon….
a middle aged woman…the camera wanders over the interior space and objects…alighting on the woman’s ‘activities’ and ‘inactivities’…as she energetically kneads the dough for her breadmaking…or lies on the sofa, detached, eyes open, waiting…the camera, sometimes static, watching, waiting, recording the slightest of ‘actions’ within its fixed frame…the ‘unimportant’ details of an ‘unimportant’ life…(?)
…at other times panning across the rooms…old photographs on a mantelpiece…neat sets of best crockery in a glass cabinet…as if on display…
