Jeremy Welsh’s long career spans and reflects many of the major trends in video art from the beginning of the 1980’s to the present day. His works are often multi-levelled, visually literate, and their sophisticated handling of complex, disparate material is hard to fault. The pivotal relationship between the (fragile) natural environment and a rapidly encroaching media landscape continues in Welsh’s Norwegian-produced work.
