Developing Pictures

Prelude to an unmade film portrait of my Auntie Nellie at the age of 85. The images of Auntie Nellie in her new flat are taken from rolls of B&W film which were home processed and ‘went wrong’. Religious icons, memorabilia, the TV set and wallpaper patterns all dissolve from positive to negative and back again, and the song says:
I’m developing my pictures / my mind, my darkroom.
The proof I’m searching for / will be made clear soon… – T.B.
