LUX13 CRITICAL FORUM: How does the group function?

Responding to a callout from LUX, a group of artists met once a month to critically engage with each other from May 2013 – April 2014. How Does The Group Function? emerged from these conversations and coincided with a group exhibition of the same title, at Enclave in November 2014. It is part process-notes and part art works: not a catalogue but acting as an account of some aspects of the year we spent together. The publication includes a DVD of 3-minute works made by each group member following the year of discussions. This touring showreel has been screened at Arcadia Missa (London), Millennium Film Workshop (New York), Castlefield Gallery (Manchester), Southampton Solent University and Trinity Laban (London).
