Come along to a free video and sound recording workshop exploring the way chance and randomness can be a powerful tool in creating meaning, narrative and experimental film. Inspired by films from the LUX collection, the workshop will include time for watching some artists’ films before collaging a sequence of still and moving images and sounds together. We will screen the final result in the exhibition space at LUX. We will be using mobile phones to make the video so please bring along your phone. If you do not have one, we can share. A digital version of the film will be sent to you after the workshop.

  • For 11-18 year olds
  • Snacks & refreshments provided
  • The workshop runs from 1:30-4:30pm
  • Free, no need to book

Embracing the random is part of Film Club, a project by artist Amy Feneck in collaboration with LUX and its local communities.
