How to get here

Please note that our building is inside Waterlow Park, not on the street. There are maps at all entrances to the park showing the location of LUX. The nearest park entrance to LUX is on Dartmouth Park Hill by the Dartmouth Park Lodge.

Public Transportation

LUX and Waterlow Park are well connected by public transport.
Nearest underground station: Archway Tube Station.
By rail: Upper Holloway station is a 15 minute walk away. Gospel Oak is a 25 minute walk away.
Buses 143, 210, 271, W5, C11 also serve the local bus stops.
Bikes may not be ridden inside the park, but you can lock them up just outside the LUX building.

Driving

There is no dedicated parking available at Waterlow Park, free on street parking is available after 12pm, 7 days a week, the nearest on street parking to LUX is on Cromwell Avenue N6.

Please note Waterlow Park is on a hill and from Archway there is a steep walk up Highgate Hill. There are buses that run from Archway to Highgate Village.

Step Free Access

The LUX building is fully wheelchair accessible and there are wheelchair accessible toilet facilities.

Large Print

Magnifying Glasses and large print guides are available.

Hearing/ Audio Induction Loop

The LUX reception and exhibition space has hearing loops for use by people with hearing aids. The hearing loop provides a magnetic, wireless signal that is picked up by the hearing aid when it is set to ‘T’ (Telecoil) setting.

Subtitles and Captions

At the moment not all works in the LUX collection have subtitles but we are working to improve this, please contact us about access to specific works.

Assistance dogs are welcome in all spaces at LUX
