OPEN CALL: Bring Your Own Beamer (BYOB)

LUX and Bomb Factory are excited to host the Bring Your Own Beamer (BYOB) event at Bomb Factory, Archway on Fri 25 November, 6-9PM. For one night only, artists are invited to bring their own materials and projectors to fill Bomb Factory’s gallery space with projections.

BYOB is an international movement of DIY one-night-exhibitions where artists collaborate and experiment on site to create an installation of moving image. BYOB was started by visual artist Rafael Rozedaal and events have been held in over 40 international cities.

The Bomb Factory Art Foundation is an arts charity that provides affordable art studios and a broad programme of free exhibitions, cultural events, and educational workshops, at all of its four gallery and studio sites in central London. Founded in 2015 by artist and  Director, Pallas Citroen the Bomb Factory’s premise is to engage people of all ages and backgrounds in the viewing and creation of art. The Bomb Factory enables visual art practice to thrive through the provision of affordable studios, as well as a supportive network for creatives where peer collaboration and critique is encouraged and the public and the local community are welcomed.
