Call for Applications: External Acquisitions Advisor

LUX is looking for a new external acquisitions advisor to work with LUX staff on the selection of new works and artists for the LUX distribution collection.

Commitment is for 3-4 meetings for a 12-month period and the fee will be £150 per meeting (approx. 3 hours). We are looking for emergent London-based curators and programmers who are activity engaged with contemporary artists’ moving image practice in the UK and internationally. It will involve suggesting and discussing works and artists with LUX staff and artist advisors in a friendly informal environment.

LUX particularly welcomes applications from individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds, from low income backgrounds and disabled people all who are currently underrepresented in the visual arts sector in the UK.
