LUX Book Fair 2023: Print Print Print

Come and be part of our first book fair! The fair celebrates independent publications, zines, poetry, and films. We are Anita Wolska-Kaslow, Sun Park and Mine Kaplangı.

Here are the details:

Date: December 17, 2023

Time: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Location: LUX, Waterlow Park Centre, London, N19 5JF

At the festival, you can explore publisher tables, fascinating archive displays, and film screenings by independent artists picked through an Open Call.

There's also a time for an open mic where people can share poetry, spoken word, readings, and music. It's a place for friends and collaborators to come together.

Publishers who will join us are the87press, Maqam Books, CentreCentre, and more.

The LUX Library will also have a special collection from the Third Text Journal's archive and TINT Library.

Our festival is named 'Print Print Print,' inspired by artist, filmmaker, and writer Lis Rhodes. She wrote an essay in a book called 'Shoot Shoot Shoot' about making a film called 'Dresden Dynamo' in the year 1971 without using a camera. She said, 'print print print – I didn't fire a shot.'

To honour Lis Rhodes' important filmmaking, which does things differently, the festival is all about sharing knowledge through books, films, and everything in between.

We hope to see you there!
