Active in independent film and video since the 1960s, GEORGE KUCHAR is also one of the most prolific of video makers. In the 1980s he acquired a camcorder and has since been producing an on-going series of video diaries chronicling his own life and the lives of those around him. The tapes are typically low or no budget, edited in-camera, intimate, diaristic, wry and humorous.
