Irish satirist, Jonathan Swift’s 18th-century novel, Gulliver’s Travels (1726) is interpreted through a re-cut of a 1939 animation of the book, resulting in the 16 mm looped projection. Reversing the narrative, Gulliver keeps drowning in the ocean caught in a loop of re-discovering death and alienation. The title comes from a line in Swift’s novel.
