Unedited 50 foot super-8 roll optically printed to 16 mm. One of a series of super-8 exercises designed to explore process as the material inscription of an event that respects the aleatory nature of the pro-filmic while dissolving the subjective impact of the camera operator. Here the elements are a fixed and uninterrupted rate of inscription (intervalometer set at 1 frame per second), fixed focal length (60mm), and a thoroughly undisciplined animal! Dedicated to the memory of Mo, now departed, who stars in this film. Project only at 24 fps. – D.R.
