‘This work was commissioned by London Video Arts as part of a show on the theme of video postcards. Mine was an impassioned plea to my mother to explain my infant son’s continuous crying. Bruno was especially upset by being dressed, and I recorded one session positioning the camera behind his head so that his face was not visible, so that he was largely abstracted, anonymous.’ – C.E.
