‘Pointillist Dance’ is a collaboration of dance film and music. Images of simple dance movement appear on the screen. A dance restricted to a single point and bound by the limits of the screen. The granularity of movement and texture progresses through three musical movements, ending as it begins. The score for ‘Pointillist Dance’ originates from the oboe of David Wilson, each sound having undergone many transformations using the electronic techniques of Ron Briefel.
