Nature/nurture sketch is a video performance that looks at cross-cultural translation soundtracked by drum ’n’ bass. It is an attempt to give language to a frustration through dance – ‘take it out on the floor’. A frustration with categorisations and assumptions around what one should or can dance to, what forms are inherited and what is learnt through experience or desire.
