My Blood Self is a new body of work based on the idea of an editorial fashion shoot that references imagery of genocide and substandard poverty, juxtaposed with historical images from the Egyptian and Mesoamerica civilizations.

This field performance highlights the complex relationship between the West’s benevolent attitude towards wanting to help end the poverty situation in Africa and using it for its own financial gain.
