Mutatis Mutandis, the Latin title, means ‘changing (only) those things which need to be changed’. A series of associated anecdotes are relayed by the voice of the artist, while the soundtrack is twinned with images of a still life being interacted with by an anonymous body (or bodies) throughout the film. The work enacts slippages between voice, body and object, with the vessels and other objects functioning as stand-ins for multiple ideas and body parts.
