SoHo TV was a project of the Artists Television Network, where artists were given slots on a local New York network.
The program is an orthographic projection of the art world presenting it from several vantages: Corinne Roberts speaks for the art critic; the artist’s psyche is discussed by artists’ psychiatrist Sheldon Cholst; the patron’s point of view is given by noted collector, artists’ advocate and arts administrator Doris Freedman; and the dealer’s position is expressed by the prominent owner of the O.K. Harris Gallery, Ivan Karp. You may ask, what about the artist? Throughout this expedition the artist, Bob Wiegand, does what he does best – paints.
