Compilation Reel
An optical poem, literally, a gathering of images (ferns, water the gatherer) and words (from a poem by Pauline Oliveros) combined through a series of skillful dissolves and superimpositions, into a lyrical new composition. “The sky doors are closed shut: The Dark Chasm: The Empty Forest: Caught by the diamond hair: White rain: Making circles of reflection: The forest begins cooking: The woods begin to bubble: The cure: Fern Soup: Spine star travel: Water Sweet: A bright pool.”
