Faktura

A short walk through a contemporary adventure playground in Berlin. While analyzing the aesthetics of child-built structures the video fluctuates between a documentary map and a more experimental montage. | Faktura also functions as a metaphor for histories perpetually influx, as the playground is torn down annually and built again. The title references the Constructivist ideal of the the works surface carrying refrence to its production. Here the surphase and shape of the playground changes with use and each build, though the specifics of its making are partlialy illedgible- partly eroded by the palimsest of reuse and partly as the drives of its amateur makers while functional have not been codified into and particular vocabulary.
