Maryam helps make LUX a welcoming and accessible space, supporting visitors to engage with our exhibitions, events, collection, and library.
They joined LUX to explore the archival and library materials that shape its history. They are an artist and organiser, currently completing a BA in Fine Art at Foldsmiths while running @blkanticrit, a critique space for self-taught Black artists, and Tint Library, a Black-led arts library.
Maryam is a big fan of animated films and TV shows. ‘Adventure Time’ and ‘Perfect Blue’ are among their favourites.
