Over the weekend of 26-28th January 2018, 120 students from the Central Saint Martins Fine Art programme based in Archway take over Waterlow Park, LUX and Lauderdale House to show painting, sculpture, moving image and performance inspired by the location of the park and its buildings.
At Lauderdale House, 2D students show wall-based works in an exhibition entitled Painting at the Edge of the World (which continues under 11 February). At LUX, 4D students interrogate the narratives of the park through moving image, photography, spoken word, performance and digital media. Films will showing in LUX’s BL CK B X space; performance and photography in the conservatory; and live events in the aviary. Finally, 3D students will show sixty site-specific sculptural works around Waterlow Park.
