LUX Breakfast Opening – Time and Time Again

LUX is pleased to invite local residents, community groups and businesses to a free breakfast event at its building in Waterlow Park. Join us for coffee, tea and pastries, meet our team and other locals as well as visit our current exhibition. All welcome, drop in any time between 9 – 10.30am.

The current exhibition is Time and Time Again: Cinenova and Women & the Law Collective, curated by Cinenova, a volunteer run feminist film and video distributor currently based at LUX, Waterlow Park. Cinenova has exhibited videos produced by Women & the Law Collective in 1986, alongside a programme of talks and screenings. These films provide a point of departure for further research, both into the historical aspects of the films’ production and the wider work of Women & the Law Collective; and more broadly the potential for film as a collective tool against state systems of oppression and discrimination.
