Roman Štětina has long been interested in description as a specific tool for understanding the world, specifically the process and methods involved in creating audiovisual work in cooperation with other artists. Focusing on storytelling, this unique performance will complete his two-month residency at LUX, presenting his latest work in the style of a diary.
In collaboration with legendary British avant garde filmmaker John Smith (b 1952, London) and Czech documentarist living in London Alice Masters (b 1980, Czech Republic).
Roman Štětina’s residency at LUX (September to November 2017) is organized in collaboration with the Czech Centre London with the support of the Arts Institute in Prague.
