Michelle Deignan

Michelle Deignan is an artist and filmmaker who was born in Dublin and lives in London. She studied visual art and film making at National College of Art and Design, Dublin; Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Dundee; and Goldsmiths University, London. With the aspirations of documentary making in mind, she creates factual and fictional narratives using video, film, text, photography and curation. These open ended stories give alternative accounts of sites, situations and representations of power.
