Michel Amarger

Michel AMARGER (1957, France) studied literature, cinema and theatre and works as a critic in many periodicals about cinema and art. Since 1981, he has made more than 40 experimental films and uses techniques such as scratching and writing on film, drawing inspiration from letterist theories. Amarger wrote a book about cinema called Cinerama, another way to make film in which he argues the case for other, unusual ways of filmmaking.
