Stuart Brisley is one of the most influential figures in postwar British art. Although often hailed as the 'godfather of British performance art', Brisley is a more complex figure, whose practice extends to painting, community projects and pseudo-curatorial installations. Brisley has also carefully documented many of his performances and the resulting films are important works in their own right. Here you can view eight of Brisley's most important works in their entirety, including the seminal Arbeit Macht Frei (1972-3).
